EACLC will become a new industrial city dominated by modern comprehensive trade and logistics industry, integrating wholesale, retail, logistics, warehousing, exhibition, culture, cross-border e-commerce, tourism and trade and other functions. Under the guidance of the “One
Belt, One Road” strategy, with the strategic goal of “based on Tanzania, radiating the whole East Africa, and connecting the Asia-Africa Continental Bridge”, we will build a super-large-scale business logistics center in East Africa, build a large platform connecting Asia and Africa in international trade, and comprehensively help East Africa. The rise of the trade and logistics industry, the construction of an open economic strategic highland in East Africa, has become a shining pearl on the Silk Road Economic Belt.
EACLC is located in the traditional commercial center in the heart of the Ubungo. It is a key area in the strategic development plan of the urban corridor and will become a national-level CBD in the future.
